Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop 230

The thing that makes our blog hop fun and exciting is the variety of content that is shared each week by so many uniquely gifted bloggers. Whether you’re looking for home decor, DIY, mommy posts, crafts, spiritual posts, teaching posts, blogging guides, recipes, and more, I guarantee you will find something to suit your fancy.

Spring has sprung. Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop is live, with highlights on spring decor at

Since we are just a few days away from the first day of Spring, I’m going to continue highlighting posts with a spring theme, but I’m doing something a little different. I’m adding a Wild Card Feature to highlight one or two blogs that are outside the range of interior decor, event styling, faux finish, design, and paint. A little more on that after we take a peek at a few highlights from last week.

Let’s take a look at a few of the bloggers that joined us at last weeks blog hop.

Britt, from One More Time, shared this simple yet striking colorful table centerpiece. She has a few handy tips for you too.

I feel happy just looking at this photo.

Robin, from Redo It Yourself Inspiration, shared a gorgeous DIY Cabbage Centerpiece. She made the cabbage out of tissue paper.  Isn’t it gorgeous?

Pinky, from Designs by Pinky, awed me with her gorgeous rustic stone fireplace decorated for spring and Easter.Gorgeous rustic style fireplace decorated with blue and white spring decor ideas. This was shared with us at Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop

Lets talk Wild Card Featured Highlights for a second:

Wild Card Features will come from categories like blogging tips, photography, DIY ideas for soaps and DIY products, encouragement, organization, etc. I have varied interests, and I know my readers do too.

This Wild Card Feature gives my readers a new resource to check out, and it’s beneficial for bloggers too. Shhh… one weird thing about me is that I enjoy random posts about all of these topics. Unfortunately, Mr. Google likes for us bloggers to stick to only a few topics. This Wild Card featured highlight will keep this interesting and entertaining while still being resourceful.

Feuza Reis, from  Get Found With Fuse, is like a super brain on steroids when it comes to blogging, SEO, content, and well… you know, all that stuff that usually drives us bloggers completely berserko. *new word for the really bad one I could have used.
She shared a wealth of information the Best Marketing Tips for 2016. It includes some social media tips too.

Robin @ Redo It Yourself Inspirations

Thank you so much for featuring my centerpiece, Olivia! I’m so thrilled! Love all of the amazing ideas you’ve shared. Thank you for hosting!

You are so very welcome, Robin! That centerpiece was awesome! I’m tempted to try my hand at this too. If I give it a whirl, I will definitely credit you again for coming up with this fabulous idea. I bet your creative process would work for making molds out of quite a few objects. Since I’m going to be down for a while with a neck injury, I might be able to do some experimenting without flaring up that nasty injury.

Hope to see you again at Thursday Favorite Things. oxoxo

Diana / Dreams Factory

Thank you for the feature, have a lovely week!

You are so welcome Diana. You do such beautiful work and your photography is always gorgeous as well.

I look forward to seeing what you link with us again this week. Well, next week.. I saw your grass eggs, which I loved!

Debbie from MountainMama

Gorgeous features! Love that fireplace…probably because it reminds me of mine!! 🙂 Thanks for hosting such a great party, ladies!

You are welcome Debbie! I’m so glad you enjoyed the selection. Your posts are always so inspirational. I especially enjoyed the one that you shared with the She-Shed inspiration. Maybe you will build one?? Oooh, now that would be fun.

Lou Lou Girls

Hello fabulous! Thank you for hosting, I really appreciate it! Please take a moment to stop by our party that goes until Friday. We pin and tweet everything! Lou Lou Girls

Hello, Lou Lou Girl. You are very welcome! We love seeing the posts that you share each week. I will join your link party one day soon. The past few months have been a bit rough on me with this neck problem. I’m having to think outside the box and change gears to focus on another aspect of what I do rather than faux finishing. It’s coming together slowly and I’m finally working on some new blogging content that won’t physically hurt me quite as much as faux finish and painting does. Looking forward to seeing what you share this… Read more »
