Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! In case you are returning after a little siesta from linking up we have made a few changes to our wonderful party. We shortened the name, changed a few rules and we have some new images too. Join us every week as we party and share at the best link party in blog land! If you are new to linking with us, welcome. Each of our hostesses shares features in our own unique way. Be sure to visit your hostesses each week to see the features they lovingly chose to highlight for the week.
Each week I choose a different theme of decor or styling to feature. It’s sort of still spring but summer is quickly approaching. That means folks are looking to spruce up their outdoor spaces. Of course, I’m up here in Alaska and barely getting those early spring blooms in my yard and it’s a chilly rainy day here as I sit wrapped in a blanket wearing a scarf. Ha ha. I will get around to sharing my own summer decor and blooms just as soon as it will be hotter than Hades summer for most of ya’ll.
This weeks theme is all about outdoor decorating.

but it would be super thoughtful and nice if you visited the featured blogs and pinned their pretty ideas from their blogs too. oxoxo
Brandy from Glue Sticks blog had a charming patriotic wreath tutorial to share with us. I love patriotic decor so very much. Memorial Day is a day of somber celebration, but full of so much love for our American heroes. This wreath will be awesome for July 4th too. It would look snazzy with my summer patriotic table setting from last year.
Thank you for the idea, Brandy!
Eilis from My Heart Lives Here shared her beautiful rustic summer porch decor with us and exactly where she found those darling bistro chairs. She also included a roundup of additional porches that she found inspirational and beautiful. Seriously, though, what a pretty little space with a bit of European flair with all of the natural stone and brick.
Megan and Lara from Jolly & Happy shared a fabulous Fixer Upper Style front door wreath tutorial made with magnolia leaves. This wreath will definitely work fabulously all through the summer season and I bet a few pretty dried sunflowers poked in might even carry this wreath through the fall season.
What do you think?
Janet from Rosemary and Thyme blog shared a few herb gardening tips and her pretty little outdoor garden decor ideas.
Isn’t this just about the cutest little summer cottage garden with a touch of French and a tasteful dash of Shabby Chic? Janet did such a beautiful job setting this outdoor space up.
Tweet this and share the inspiration with your friends too!
