Beautiful Blush Pink Christmas Decor

This year Welch House is once again decorated in blush pink for the holidays. Last year was the first year that we changed over from the traditional reds, to blush pink and I am still loving the new look. Last year was also the first time my home was featured here on Reinvented Collection. You can check that out at The Welch House Historic Christmas Home.

In the foyer, the decorating is kept simple but elegant. The gold cherub vase is filled with glittery pink poinsettias. I had to give her a Christmas makeover with a pair of white feather angel wings.

Pretty pink mercury glass Christmas trees add a bit of whimsy to the set up. Throughout this room I draped faux cedar garland on the mirrors and along the staircase to add a bit of old world Christmas charm.

This year I wanted to keep the focus of my Christmas decor on the birth of Christ and nothing represents that more accurately than the beautiful Madonna and child bust that adorns the living room mantle.

I found this treasure over the summer and knew right away that this piece would be the focal point of my Christmas decor. A flocked garland, mercury glass candle holders and a pair of antique candelabras complete the mantle’s pretty Christmas look.

We are still loving our flocked Christmas tree from last year and there is no place better to sit and enjoy it than the built in window seat.

Its such a cozy spot to curl up with a book and a soft blanket and just enjoy the view.

The dining room  tree is decorated with my beloved collection of vintage cherub angel ornaments  along with cream and pink bulbs. I found some brass harps over the summer so I added them in as well.

The table is set with mixed and matched Homer Laughlin China along with a new set of snowflake plates. I love to mix the old with the new. Blush pink napkins and gold flatware add a pretty touch.

A vintage pink french style chair and settee are brought up to the table for added elegance and extra seating.

Every year I set up my cream and gold nativity on the the dining room piano, its become a tradition at this point. I love its simple beauty and I adorn it only with fresh Christmas greens and a few ornaments.

On the dining room wall is a beautiful tapestry style wall hanging. It used to be in my kitchen but I brought it out her for the holidays. I love the old world European vibe that it lends to the dining area.

Overall, this year, I was inspired by a combination of French and even a few Victorian touches in my Christmas home.  It's warm and cozy which is perfect for my little family.

It’s just like a Christmas storybook! So fabulous! Thanks to you and Olivia I have been incorporating small touches of blush and pink, and I have still been able to make it work with my traditional and vintage junky chic style. I will be on the lookout for more blush and pink vintage Christmas on my 2018 junkin’ adventures!

Olivia, your home is so beautiful. Every little detail is perfect. I love the pink and I’m not normally a pink girl. Thanks again for all you did to make this tour a success.

Blush pink is my favorite colour especially against the warmth of the golds. Your home decor is as luxurious as your Christmas decor is, it all blends together so well. Stunning home.

Angelina

Larissa, your home looks so beautiful. Your Christmas is perfectly pink in every way! It goes so well with the beautiful gilded/gold pieces you have.
