You are in for a treat this week with 10 Featured Bloggers!
There were so many fantastic links shared at last weeks link party
that I was awe-struck, slack-jawed and stuck with the oh so very terrible job of hand picking out just a few.
Go Big or Go Home is kind of a life motto for me.
I figured what the heck, why not crank out one giant post loaded
full of as many autumn decorating ideas for the home that I could reasonably feature today.
I’m not exaggerating about the
sheer volume of posts that were focused on seasonal home decor and delightful recipes.
It would be worth the time to visit our Thursday Favs party from last week here.
Whether it is a flickering candle,
freshly washed laundry,
or something simmering on the stove, or a delightful baked good,
I’m quick to notice scents long before my eyes begin
to wander a room looking at all the pretty vignettes and styled decor.
There is so much more to fall than decorating.
It’s a full body experience.
The feeling of crisp cool days with the warmth of the sun seeping into cozy sweaters,
fun strolls through pumpkin patches,
cooking and enjoying food with friends and family,
movie nights at home drinking hot cider,
munching on warm popcorn and the buttery scent,
the anticipation of enjoying a meal that simmered all day in a crockpot
and lastly, doing this in a home that is decorated to embrace the season.
I’m feeling a little sentimental today.
Okay… Let’s get this party started!
