Surprise! I’m Doing a Blog Feature

This week I have been working on wrapping up a couple of large projects and photographing them. Next week I will be in California for a visit with family, working on styling an event, and attending an art hop that is featuring my cousins work. I’m excited to see everyone, do a little work, but less than enthusiastic to leave my fall weather for brutal heat. I’m a snow bunny, not a beach bunny. Not kidding either!

Since I have been quite busy, I wanted to take the time to thank six ladies that featured my French Country Farmhouse Dining Table post. I decided the best way I could thank them was to feature one of their blog posts on mine.

The French Country Farmhouse Dining table….. Oh dear, I’m just going to be straightforward and honest, I put an insane amount of hours into photographing it. Try 1,200 RAW images, lots of blurry photos, crazy cloud cover, and then writing the post.

It was my first large photography project, and I was scared to death that I would be criticized to kingdom come by pro-photographers.

Then I heard these fantastic quotes, several actually….

“Elephants don’t talk to ants!” -Jai Stone (expert brander)

Seriously, though, isn’t that awesome?!

“Are you more worried about trolls or your calling and higher purpose?”

Can I get an amen?

And then there is this one….

“YOU don’t have to be perfect; you just have to show up.”

Boom.

There you have it folks.

That’s momma preaching right there.

Jai Stone (Expert Brander), founder of the Authentic Living, Emotional Nudist Movement

With all of that being said, I feel incredibly blessed and am thankful for having been chosen as a feature on each of these ladies blogs. I don’t have the words to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation. Each time I have been featured I am humbled. Being chosen by six different women on one post that I worked so hard on and put in so many hours of work…  From the bottom of my heart, just thank you! You have encouraged me, you have lifted me up, and you have blessed me.

In turn, I wanted to be a blessing to them so I decided to do a surprise feature with one post from each of their blogs.

 Sharing is caring.

Be Inspired Link Party

Sharon puts quite a bit of work into hosting her weekly party, I decided to feature a few of her wreaths in her Etsy shop. Most link parties don’t allow shops to link so I wanted to give her shop a little exposure.

I’m not much of a crafter myself, but do I appreciate a good DIY with a few shared tips. Nici has quite a few clever DIY’s for sweaters.
